XL HOCKEY FACTS

The XL Hockey League is the only league of its kind. It is the least expensive way for youths to enjoy hockey and even offers a payment plan to ensure that everyone can play. Anyone who signs up prior to October 1st is only asked to pay $435 and that includes: 21 ice sessions, a special 5th year anniversary jersey, a league website, a league-wide pizza party in the Mariucci club room, and the chance to win cool prizes. The $435 early bird registration fee breaks down to approximately $20 per session throughout the entire season.

The XL Hockey League prides itself on having a consistent schedule at a consistent location. You can set your calendar for the entire season knowing that each game will be played on Sunday at Mariucci or Ridder Arenas. The latest game played during the season starts at approximately 8:00 p.m. and the league schedule will be constructed so that if your team has a late game one week, that same team will not have a late game for at least a few weeks.

The XL Hockey League has a strong history that has represented over 500 players and 40 different teams throughout four excellent years of existence. Throughout this time, XL Hockey has received valuable feedback from former players and parents on how to make this league better each year and we believe the 5th year of XL Hockey is going to be the best yet!

The XL Hockey League is an affiliate league of USA Hockey and MN Hockey. It is the only affiliate
specifically designed for pee wee's, bantam's, and high school players who want a top quality rec hockey experience. All players and coaches must be registered with USA Hockey.
